About: 

Nan is currently a third-year PhD student in the Human Development program. Nan received her bachelor's degree in Psychology in Beijing Normal University in China. She is interested in bilingual language acquisition and processing. She is working on two projects, one is about how metalinguistic skills such as phonological awareness influences the literacy skills in the second language in Chinese-English bilinguals, and the other is about the phonomenon of non-selective lexical access during visual word recognition for bilinguals.
