About: 

Lucy Erickson was a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences from 2016 to 2018.  Lucy received her PhD from Carnegie Mellon in Developmental Psychology, working with Dr. Eric Thiessen, and most recently was a postdoc at the University of Göttingen with Dr. Nivedita Mani.  Her work has focused on cognitive and linguistic development in young children, particularly with regards to statistical learning mechanisms and the interaction between the learner and the environment.
