PhD in Linguistics, UMD
I received a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Maryland, advised by Colin Phillips.
I am interested in sentence processing, with a primary focus on how grammatical and extra-grammatical knowledge is employed in real-time language processing. My work looks at the role and the nature of predictive processes, as well as how grammatical knowledge constrains memory retrieval (e.g., in processing referential dependencies) during online sentence processing.
I am currently a Lecturer in Experimental Linguistics at University College London (UCL). My research looks at how humans process language in real time
