LLMs and the acquisition of A-bar movement

 

Abstract: Allison Dods, Katherine Howitt, and Sathvik Nair will lead an upcoming Psycholinguistics Workshop with a presentation of their project regarding LLMs and the acquisition of A-bar movement. 

 

Bio: Dods, Howitt, and Nair are PhD students in Linguistics at the University of Maryland. Dods has research expertise in Computational Linguistics, Psycholinguistics, and Syntax. Howitt's work reflects her interest in language acquisition and psycholinguistics, while Nair works closely with computational psycholinguistics.
